About Sonia


Helping to make a real difference in people’s lives is what drives real estate professional Sonia Bruce. Her approach is empathetic, authentic and above all else client-focused.

Sonia arrived in real estate from a long career in tourism and hospitality, administration and business ownership. This includes being a Natural Health Practitioner with her own practice, owning a distance education natural therapies college with over 400 students and an accommodation business managing an apartment complex, which became the leading accommodation provider in Whitianga. This has resulted in Sonia having extremely high-level skills in customer service, communication, understanding business needs and requirements and more.

Sonia takes a holistic approach to real estate recognising it is not just about homes but also about people. She has a true passion for supporting people through their property journey, defining individual goals then delivering with clear communication every step of the way. She provides a fresh perspective, can-do attitude and strong work ethic brimming with enthusiasm. Sonia’s aim is to always exceed her customers’ expectations and ensure their real estate transaction is an enjoyable one, aiming to build lifelong relationships along the way.

A dedicated local, Sonia has holidayed and lived at Pauanui and Whitianga Waterways since 2001. She is a member of the local business association and previously held the role of treasurer and secretary. A lifelong learner Sonia is currently completing her NZ Diploma in Animal Homeopathy studies.

Sonia thrives on helping people achieve their property dreams and aspirations, so they can then move forward to achieve their future goals. She offers grassroots knowledge of both the holiday home and permanent resident real estate markets in the Coromandel.
