Richard has over 30 years’ experience in the land information industry most recently as a  founder, manager and director of a reputable Gisborne surveying company.

A founder member of the Wainui Football Club and a former competitive footballer and cyclist, Richard and his family reside in the beachside community of Okitu. They regularly travel to the Pacific islands where Richard’s forebears have strong connections.
