Our vendors instructions are very clear, they want a sale and have now priced the farm to sell. The decision has been made to liquidate their interests in the farm as partners and pursue other opportunities after ten years of ownership.
Located in the reliable dairying area of Aparima, 37km to Winton and 64km to Invercargill, this farm features an ideal rectangle shape with attractive trees and shelter across the property. The farm comprises 222 hectares with an excellent, wide internal race system and feature infrastructure includes a 56 bail rotary cowshed with in-shed feeding, Protrack, ACRs and a large circular yard. There are three houses on the property making the overall infrastructure sufficient for a farm of this size.
The five year production average is circa 235,000kg MS from circa 570 cows peak milked under a low input system but produced 286,000kg MS under a different management system in the 2013/2014 season. The effluent system is currently being significantly upgraded and will be in place by the settlement date.
Inspection is recommended.
