Prime Cropping Land

From a robust family foundation with influence in both the local region and the wider horticultural sector dating back to 1865, the seven Reynolds brothers have combined their experience with their strong family unit to build one of the most impressive privately-held horticulture portfolios in the Franklin district, arguably New Zealand's prime cropping region.

Based on an underlying and respected production story, the Reynolds brothers have accumulated a total of circa 300 hectares (more or less) including approximately 250 hectares (more or less) of prime growing blocks across the Franklin district.

Soil type and access to good irrigation water took precedence initially and, combined with their passion and leadership for sustainable farming practices, the brothers are now significant producers of high value crops, predominantly potatoes and onions, servicing the domestic market under the TA Reynolds name.

Their horticulture growth strategy has been supplemented with a longer-term view on future growth of the region with strategic purchases of rural land now variously zoned residential and industrial, and earmarked for development.

As a family, the Reynolds brothers have decided the time is right to divest parts of their accumulated portfolio that sit outside what will remain as their core horticulture operation.

The land being offered to the market includes irrigated horticultural land, residential development land, and industrial-zoned future development land.
