The vision was to create an inspired homage to the home's Victorian legacy, as well as a showpiece of chic contemporary design, with each era married seamlessly and symmetrically into the other. Bespoke and top-of-the-line features and materials were sourced locally and from around the globe, selected for both their aesthetics and functionality. Many elements have also been painstakingly handcrafted, in a steadfast commitment to authenticity.

The long, wide hallway is like a journey through time - starting from the richly detailed original villa at the front, then moving past the water-feature plunge pool and into the open-plan indoor and outdoor living zones, chef's kitchen and garden oasis. Four double bedrooms (incl. master with ensuite and walk-in), the formal lounge, family bathroom and internal garage access are located off the hallway, before glass doors open into the expansive rear area.

An enormous, leathered granite island serves as the kitchen's dramatic centrepiece, enhanced with practical brushed concrete-finished cabinetry and quality appliances. The dining area flows into the living space, then out poolside and to the louvre deck.
