Greenhithe

Greenhithe is on the western side of the North Shore. This once sleepy suburb has emerged in recent years to become a much sought after location as properties particularly in the older part of Greenhithe, sit on larger pieces of land, which are increasingly scarce in other suburbs on the North Shore. The natural geographic isolation has meant that while surrounding areas may have become crowded with new development, Greenhithe has been spared and more recent changes are being approached with sensitivity to the expansive green areas and local atmosphere.

The easy lifestyle in Greenhithe Village is a balance of town and country. It is in a very convenient location, minutes from Albany, close to local and private schooling, and the new Westfield Mall with cinema complex. The village centre offers the lively tapas bar and cafe - The Collins and an exciting new Italian Restaurant - Arcobaleno, both with lovely outdoor seating. There is also a selection of specialty shops including a convenience store, bakery, takeaways and hairdressers - all centred around a very active community hall. The local Malthouse tavern is well renowned for its excellent menu including gourmet pizzas cooked in the wood-fired oven which is a central feature of the bar. Also known for the three parks, and gorgeous walkways, it's surprising how many people come to Greenhithe to walk their dogs!

We are seeing an encouraging rise in property values since the opening of the new Motorways and this has created more interest and desirability for people to live in Greenhithe
